Requiem, the finless shark

“In a condition that hovers between life and death, Requiem is lost in limbo in the depths of the sea. And on a lonely journey, she searches for her fins that were stolen by a fisherman. However, she will not be alone, there are others like her.”

I had the idea to illustrate the journey of this character that I created, to draw attention to "Shark Finning", which is the practice of cutting off the fins of sharks and discarding them to the sea still alive just to make a traditional Chinese soup. A totally in vain death of creatures essential to the health of our ocean.
