I had the idea of making their poses subtly reflect the water zodiac signs (Scorpio, Cancer and Pisces) that I based their personalities on. As well as the three tarot cards (Moon, Sun and Star).

Aria, the zebra shark, I thought her introspective pose subtly referred to the symbolism of the sign of the Pisces. Also inspired by the major arcana: The Star
